Silicon Rubber Sheets
and Rollers
Silicone rubber sheets are commonly used for tipping raised graphics,
hot stamping broad areas and applying heat transfers.Silicone
rollers are for peripheral decorating of cylindrical shapes and
roll-on decorating of large flat or curved surfaces.
Die Mounting.
The most common and widely used processes for securing dies on
the hot stamping chase is die mounting tape or heat tape. The
tape works as a hot melt adhesive between the die and chase. The
tape is applied to the back of the die and the heated head of
the hot stamping press is lowered down onto the back of the die.
The heat of the press and pressure melt the adhesive and bond
the die to the chase.Tape
